When you work with plants you never know what you might happen across. Alexa was in a sunny spot tidying up some plants–
–when she found a little bit of wildlife!
We’re pretty sure that’s a monarch chrysalis. Viewed in the right light you could see orange and black markings on the wings inside.
We set the pot aside to let the little creature finish its transformation before the plant goes out for sale. Yet another reason to garden–you increase your chances to see “self-propelled flowers”.
